OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING
8 WEEK INTRO COURSE
FOCUSES EXCLUSIVELY ON CORRECT TECHNIQUE FOR WEIGHTLIFTING
Athletes will work on improving their abilities in the snatch and the clean & jerk through drills, technique work, accessory exercises and of course plenty of classic lifting.

Individuals around Jersey are experiencing success in their weightlifting goals by completing our 8-week course, which includes week-by-week progressive drills to help develop your technique. 

Our course is led by experienced weightlifting specialist Tom Seedhouse. Tom holds a BSc in Strength and Conditioning and has competed in Olympic Weightlifting around UK. 

The course is designed to help any individual, regardless of age or athletic ability.

Each course runs in 8 week blocks on Mondays at 7-8pm. 
Week 1: Intro to Lifting, Terminology, Positions, Fundamentals

Week 2-4: Snatch Progressions

Week 5-7: Clean & Jerk Progressions

Week 8: Max Of The Day
